The central government has supplied 30,000 CorbiVax vaccines to the state to vaccinate the elderly and health workers. The number of corona infected people is increasing after the detection of sub strain JN.1 of covid-19 omicron virus in the country. In the background of many others falling victim to Covid, the central government has supplied 30 thousand CorbiVax vaccine to the state to vaccinate the elderly and health workers. 30,000 doses of CorbiVax vaccine have been supplied to the state by the central government. These CorbiVax vaccines have been distributed to the respective districts as per requirement. Corbivax vaccine can be administered as a prophylactic (heterologous) dose as per Union health Ministry guidelines. Therefore, as recommended by the Covid Technical Advisory Committee, the 2nd dose of CoviShield or Covaccine vaccine is given to those above 60 years of age, those with reduced immunity and healthcare workers who have not received a preventive dose after at least 6 months or 26 weeks.
Vaccination should be done as per the guidelines of Covid-19 vaccination using the distributed CorbiVax vaccine after downloading the information of those who have received the vaccine from the health department's Kovin portal. It has been suggested that this covid vaccine should be distributed only to district hospital and taluk hospitals as determined by the district and vaccination should be done only there.
A high level of IEC activities can be undertaken to inform the public of vaccination availability and vaccination center information. The district wise list of distributed vaccines is shown below.

Most CorbiVax Lasika doses have been allocated to these key districts. The rest of the vaccines have been distributed to all districts.
