Reportedly after the consecration of Ramlala, the ram temple in ayodhya was opened for the common people to visit. There is a steady stream of people coming to see Ramlala. A large number of devotees from indore and madhya pradesh are also going to Ayodhya. Devotees were waiting for the schedule of the train running between indore and ayodhya for a long time. Putting an end to their wait, Western Railways has released the timetable of the weekly special train running between indore and ayodhya Dham. The special train running between indore and Ramnagari ayodhya will have 4 frequencies on both sides and will be run like Bharat Gaurav train. In which the facility of bulk ticket booking will be available. Official sources of Ratlam division said that two trains will be run from the city as special trains for ayodhya Dham. There will be one train only on 4th February. The second train named Aastha Express will be run from the city on 10, 17 and 24 February.

Meanwhile according to the schedule, both the trains will leave from indore at 1 pm and will reach ayodhya Dham at 12.10 pm the next day. On the return journey, these trains will depart from ayodhya Dham and reach the city on 6, 12, 19 and 26 February. The train will leave the city at 1 pm and reach ayodhya at 12.10 pm the next day. Trains will be run like Bharat Gaurav trains and will have the facility of bulk booking.

These trains running between indore and ayodhya will run via Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai (Jhansi), Orai, kanpur and Lucknow. The journey from indore to ayodhya by train will be approximately 1118 kilometers long and it will take 23.10 hours to reach ayodhya Dham. During the return journey from ayodhya to indore, this train will take 22.15 hours. The train will have a total of 22 coaches including 20 sleeper and two SLR classes.
