In Uttar Pradesh, talks have been reached between Samajwadi party and indian National Congress. Despite all the obstacles, after mutual dialogue and coordination, the top leadership of both the parties has almost reached the halfway point of the indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). Amidst all this, the big question arising is that from which lok sabha seat will UP congress Chief ajay Rai contest the elections. According to news agency PTI, congress sources say that the party wants Ballia lok sabha seat of Purvanchal for Uttar Pradesh President ajay Rai. Sources also said that there is no clarity yet regarding Ballia lok sabha seat. He told that congress can get 16-18 seats to contest the elections in alliance with SP. He told, “SP leadership has agreed to give Varanasi, Amroha, Jhansi, Fatehpur Sikri, saharanpur and some other seats to Congress. congress wants Shravasti lok sabha seat, but no consensus has been reached yet.

Talk about swapping some seats

A senior congress leader in lucknow said that there is talk of exchange of some seats between the two parties. There is a possibility that the matter will be discussed regarding seat sharing.

It is noteworthy that SP had offered to give 17 out of 80 lok sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh to its ally congress of 'Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA)' alliance. The SP President was to participate in rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay yatra in Rae Bareli, but he did not attend.

SP had said that Akhilesh will participate in the yatra only when congress accepts the offer. After this it seemed that the alliance between congress and Samajwadi party would not be possible.
