Accordingly regarding the upcoming lok sabha elections, bjp has started finalizing the names of its candidates for every seat in UP. Although there is no indication as to when the names of the candidates will be announced, speculation has intensified on many seats. According to an INS news, if she agrees, the party can change Maneka Gandhi's seat again like last time. However, no clear indication has yet come from the party regarding the seat. But political experts are saying that in Maneka's constituency Sultanpur, former ED officer turned leader Rajeshwar Singh is a strong contender from BJP.

Meanwhile Rajeshwar Singh, who hails from Sultanpur, is an mla from Sarojini nagar assembly seat of Lucknow, but is working overtime in Sultanpur. It is said that he is in the good books of chief minister Yogi Adityanath. However, Sultanpur seat has been a stronghold of bjp and the party has been winning from here during the last elections.

Actually, in the last lok sabha elections, maneka gandhi had contested from Sultanpur seat. He defeated the BSP candidate in this election. However, earlier in the 2014 elections, maneka gandhi had contested from Pilibhit. Then he defeated Buddhasen Verma in the election by a margin of about three lakh votes. Whereas maneka gandhi had contested the 2004 lok sabha elections from Pilibhit. However, again in 2009 he contested elections from Sultanpur seat. On this basis, these speculations are gaining more air. Let us tell you that there is every possibility that lok sabha elections will be announced in March. The election commission of india team is reaching UP on 29 February. Along with taking stock of the election preparations, the team will also hold a meeting with the administration and political parties.
