Actually, in the last lok sabha elections, maneka gandhi had contested from Sultanpur seat. He defeated the BSP candidate in this election. However, earlier in the 2014 elections, maneka gandhi had contested from Pilibhit. Then he defeated Buddhasen Verma in the election by a margin of about three lakh votes. Whereas maneka gandhi had contested the 2004 lok sabha elections from Pilibhit. However, again in 2009 he contested elections from Sultanpur seat.
