According to the Finance minister, GSDP has increased by 9.17 percent compared to the last financial year. Delhi's GSDP in the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 10,14,000 crore. He said that after the Corona period, an increase of 8.76 percent was recorded in Delhi's GSDP in the financial year 2021-22 and 7.85 percent in 2022-23. Delhi's population is only 1.5 percent of the country's population, but its contribution to the country's GDP is 4 percent.

Huge increase in per capita income

The per capita income of delhi was Rs 3.70 lakh in the financial year 2021-22, which has increased to Rs 4.61 lakh in the financial year 2023-24. Per capita income has increased by 22 percent in the last two years. The per capita income in delhi is two and a half times higher than the per capita income at the national level.
