In Maharashtra, no consensus has been reached on 6 seats between the bjp and the Shinde faction's Shiv Sena. The standoff continues between bjp and shiv sena over six lok sabha seats including thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Nashik, Sambhajinagar, and Dharashiv. So far, three rounds of talks have been held between chief minister Eknath Shinde and devendra fadnavis to solve the problem, but no consensus has been reached. Both the parties are firm on their stand claiming the possibility of victory on these seats.
Insiders of bjp and shiv sena said that chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy cm fadnavis have indicated that now the solution will be found only after the intervention of Union home minister amit Shah.

Of these six seats in Maharashtra, after the division in june 2022, thane will be with shiv sena UBT, Palghar will be with shiv sena (led by Eknath Shinde), Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg will be with shiv sena UBT, Nashik will be with shiv sena led by Eknath Shinde, Till recently, Dharashiv, also known as Osmanabad, was controlled by shiv sena UBT and Sambhajinagar by AIMIM. bjp has claimed thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Sambhajinagar, and Nashik, while the Shinde faction is also staking its claim on these seats.
