Delhi Social Welfare and Labor minister Rajkumar anand has resigned from his post with immediate effect. He has also announced his resignation from the Aam Aadmi Party.
It is noteworthy that Rajkumar decided to resign after the arrest of delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal on march 21.
"The aam aadmi party was born to fight against corruption, but today the party itself is in the grip of corruption. This made it difficult for me to be a minister. So I resigned. I cannot cooperate with this corruption while being a minister and in the party." raj Kumar anand said.
Rajkumar anand also said that he has sent his resignation letter to the Chief Minister's office.
Arvind kejriwal from jail to his party, P.R. Rajkumar's decision to resign comes after a request for a letter sent on the occasion of Ambedkar's birthday.
It may be recalled that the enforcement department raided Rajkumar Anand's house on november 3 last year in a case related to money laundering.
