In a recent press conference, minister Peddireddy Ramachandra reddy levelled serious accusations against the telugu desam party (TDP), alleging their involvement in the attack on chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The incident, which occurred during a bus trip in Singh Nagar, involved stone pelting targeting the Chief Minister. minister Peddireddy asserted that the tdp orchestrated the attack due to their inability to tolerate the Chief Minister's growing popularity.

Pointing to a social media post by tdp member Nara lokesh, minister Peddireddy highlighted Lokesh's implicit admission of the party's role in the attack. The post referenced two incidents: the 2019 Kodi Kathi incident and the recent stone pelting incident in 2024. minister Peddireddy challenged Lokesh's suggestion that the 2019 attack was staged for sympathy, questioning the plausibility of orchestrating such an attack for political gain.

Furthermore, minister Peddireddy rebuked tdp leaders including Chandrababu Naidu, Nara lokesh, Pawan Kalyan, and Purandeshwari, accusing them of feeling threatened by the Chief Minister's rising popularity. He recalled Chandrababu Naidu's past dismissal of the impact of the Chief Minister's Rally, contrasting it with the successful recent bus tour undertaken by the chief minister in krishna district.

In response to Lokesh's insinuation, minister Peddireddy issued a challenge, daring him to replicate the alleged self-attack to understand its complexity. He emphasized that orchestrating such an incident for political sympathy would be impractical and urged lokesh to try and replicate it to comprehend the difficulty of executing such a plan.

The Minister's remarks underscored the tense political climate in Andhra Pradesh, with allegations and counter-allegations being traded between rival parties ahead of the upcoming elections.
