Congress on sunday announced the names of candidates for 6 seats in punjab for the lok sabha elections. In this, former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been declared a candidate for the jalandhar seat. After getting the ticket, Channi posted on his social media account X and wrote that I am very grateful to the high command of the indian national congress for giving me the lok sabha ticket from Jalandhar. It is a privilege to serve Jalandhar. Along with this, former chief minister Channi wrote, "People of jalandhar, I am coming to you as Sudama. I hope that you will honor me like Lord Shri Krishna."
