Sabarjeet was lodged in pakistan jail

Sarabjit Singh, resident of Bhikhiwind, punjab, had accidentally gone to pakistan in an intoxicated state. He was sentenced to death for his alleged role in the 1990 bombings in Pakistan's punjab province, a charge repeatedly denied by the indian government. While Sarabjit Singh spent more than 20 years in pakistan jail, his sister Dalbir Kaur fought a legal battle to free her brother from there. She always insisted that her brother Sarabjit Singh was innocent and had mistakenly gone to pakistan when he was arrested. Dalbir Kaur had also gone to pakistan to meet her brother.
