'First timer' faces will reach parliament from 5 seats…

This time the lok sabha elections in jharkhand are different from the previous elections in many ways. This is the first time that the fate of 20 elected public representatives on 14 lok sabha seats in the state is at stake. These include nine lok sabha MPs, one rajya sabha MP, and 10 MLAs. Among the current lok sabha MPs, Nishikant Dubey is fighting to reach parliament for the fourth consecutive time from Godda seat.

Whereas BD ram from Palamu, Vidyut Varan Mahato from Jamshedpur, and Vijay Hansda from Rajmahal have a chance to score a hat-trick. annapurna Devi from Koderma, arjun munda from Khunti, Chandraprakash Chaudhary from Giridih, and Geeta Koda from Singhbhum are in the fray to reach parliament for the second consecutive time. rajya sabha MP sameer Oraon is claiming to reach lok sabha from Lohardaga this time. This time, nine MLAs of the state have been fielded by big parties in the battle for Lok Sabha.

These include BJP's manish Jaiswal and Congress's Jaiprakash Bhai patel in Hazaribagh seat, Congress's deepika Pandey Singh in Godda seat, BJP's Dhullu Mahato in dhanbad, JMM's Joba Manjhi in Singhbhum, JMM's mathura Mahato in Giridih, cpi ML K in Koderma. Vinod Singh, Dumka includes BJP's Sita Soren and JMM's Nalin Soren.

Apart from these, a JMM mla Lobin Hembram has announced to contest as an independent candidate from the Rajmahal seat. The five 'warriors' who won the lok sabha elections in 2019 have not got a chance to bat on the election pitch this time. These include dhanbad MP PN Singh, who won the highest number of votes in the state in the last elections. Apart from these, the MPs who had to opt out of the election this time include jayant sinha from Hazaribagh, sunil Singh from Chatra, sunil Soren from Dumka, and sudarshan Bhagat from Lohardaga.
