Shortly after the incident, Gadkari explained his health, saying that he was unwell due to the heat during the rally. Union minister nitin gadkari posted on the X site, "Now I am completely healthy. I am leaving to attend the next meeting. Thank you for your love and well wishes,” he posted. Gadkari, who contested the first phase of polling as a bjp candidate for the nagpur Lok Sabha constituency, campaigned for Eknath Shinde-led shiv sena chief Rajashri Patil in Yavatmal's Pusad area. Addressing the rally, the Union minister hoped that the people of Yavatmal district would continue to follow the trend of development and give success to the BJP-Maha Alliance, which believes in the development of all sectors. Moving towards a developed India, under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi, significant work has been done in the last 10 years on roads and highways across the country and education, health, and other sectors.
