RTO Don't wander to the office... New rule introduced to get driving license!

As the central government has relaxed the rules for obtaining a driving license, the process of taking a test drive to get a driving license has become easier.

Driving License Procedure

Usually, one has to go to the RTO office for a driving test to get a driving license. Instead, private companies have been approved to conduct driving tests. Driving license can also be issued by the same company. Accrediting private driving training centers to issue driving licenses is expected to increase the quality of vehicle training centers.

This system will be operational from 1st June. Then you can apply online for driving license using this method. You have to visit the website https://parivahan.gov.in and submit the application. Fill the application form in the driving license section of the website and upload the required documents. Driving license will be issued after submission of documents.

Driving License rules

LLR Rs.200, LLR Renewal Rs.200, international license Rs.1000, Permanent license Rs.200 as license fee.Private training centers must have a minimum of 1 acre of land to be eligible to issue driving license. 2 more acres of land is required for permission to issue license for 4 wheeler.

RTO office and Driving Licence

Apart from this there should be all necessary facilities for conducting the driving test. The coach must be at least a high school graduate. Or should have completed Diploma. Trainees must have at least 5 years driving experience. Practitioners should know the basics of biometrics and information technology.

Private Driving Schools

Light vehicle training should be completed within a minimum of 29 hours and a maximum of 4 weeks. Training should be conducted in at least two sections. Theory training should be 8 hours and practical training should be 21 hours. At least 38 hours of training is mandatory for heavy vehicles. 8 hours of theory and 31 hours of practical training are required. This training should be completed within 6 weeks.
