Delhi Liquor Policy Case: Judicial custody of former delhi Deputy cm manish Sisodia has been extended till May 31. He was arrested on 26 february 2023 in a money laundering case related to liquor policy.

Manish Sisodia has received a big blow from the delhi high court in the money laundering case related to delhi Liquor Policy. The court has rejected the bail plea of Sisodia. Earlier, the high court had reserved the decision while hearing on april 14. However, the high court has upheld the lower court's decision to meet the wife once a week.

The court said that Sisodia is an influential person, if he gets bail then the possibility of him influencing witnesses or tampering with evidence cannot be ruled out. The court also said that CBI-ED cannot be held responsible for the delay in the trial.
