After that Legislative Council elections will be held. The election commission has announced elections for 4 Legislative Council seats in the state. According to the program announced by the election commission, voting for the Legislative Council elections will be held on june 26. The election schedule for 4 seats of the Legislative Council has been announced afresh. This election is being held for two teacher and two graduate constituencies.

Announcement of Legislative Council elections in Maharashtra

According to ABP Majha, this Legislative Council election in maharashtra will be held in mumbai and Konkan graduate constituencies, Nashik and mumbai teacher constituencies. Earlier the date of june 10 was announced for these elections. However, now the date of Legislative Council elections has been changed. According to the new schedule, voting for the graduates and teachers constituencies will be held on june 26.

Graduate and Teacher Constituency Election

The elections for teacher and graduate constituencies were postponed in view of the lok sabha elections in Maharashtra. It consists of 2 graduates and 2 teacher’s constituencies. The tenure of Sanjay Potnis from mumbai Graduate constituency and Niranjan Davkhare from Konkan Graduate constituency is ending on July 7. Apart from this, the tenure of Kapil Patil from mumbai teachers Constituency and kishore Darade from Nashik teachers Constituency is ending.

Schedule for Legislative Council elections in Maharashtra

The election commission has announced the schedule for graduate and teacher constituencies on 4 Legislative Council seats of Maharashtra. Applications will be submitted from 31st May to 7th June. Scrutiny of applications will take place on june 10. Applications can be withdrawn till june 12. Voting will take place on june 26. At the same time, counting of votes will take place on July 1.
