The sixth phase of the election is over…

Polling for the sixth phase of the lok sabha elections ended at 6 pm on Saturday. Even those who are in the queue lines at the polling centers till six o'clock are given the opportunity to vote. In the sixth phase of the lok sabha elections in West bengal, 77.99 percent polling was recorded till 5 pm . The polling in Tamluk, Kanti, Ghatal, Jhargram, Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura and Bishnupur constituencies started at 7 am and ended at 6 pm. Till 5 pm, highest polling was recorded in Bishnupur 81.47 percent, Tamluk 79.79 percent, Jhargam 79.68 percent, Ghatas 78.92 percent, Medinipur 77.57 percent, Bankura 76.79 percent, Kanthi 7.7 percent. Purulia constituency recorded the lowest polling of 74.09 percent. A total of 1,45,34,228 voters including 73,63,273 men, 71,70,822 women and 133 third gender voters will exercise their right to vote in 15,600 polling centers across the state.

Polling for 58 lok sabha seats in 6 states and 2 union territories ended on Saturday. Polling started at 7 am. Voters reach the polling stations and exercise their right to vote. On the other hand, elections to 42 assembly constituencies in odisha were also held in the sixth phase. Along with the lok sabha elections, the assembly elections are being held here. elections are being held for all the parliamentary seats in delhi and haryana at this stage. Former Chief Ministers manohar lal khattar (Haryana) and mehbooba mufti (Jammu and Kashmir) are among the prominent candidates contesting the sixth lok sabha elections.
