BJP has a lot at stake in the sixth phase...

The process of lok sabha elections 2024 is now nearing its conclusion. Now only one phase is left in this election of 7 phases which will last for 42 days. Out of the remaining 115 seats, voting is taking place on 58 seats in the sixth phase on May 25. The very interesting thing in this phase is that congress could not win even a single one of these 58 seats in the 2019 elections. In contrast, the bharatiya janata party won 40 seats in the 2019 lok sabha elections, securing more than 40 percent vote share on 47 seats. bjp is a strong contender on 30 seats. This means that the party has won these seats at least twice in the last three elections. These seats include West delhi and North-West delhi in delhi, faridabad, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh and Karnal in haryana and dhanbad in Jharkhand. The party won Karnal and faridabad seats with a victory margin of about 50 percent.

voter confidence

There are 11 constituencies that show us where voters have placed their trust for more than a decade. bjp has five, Biju Janata Dal has four and trinamool congress has two lok sabha seats from which it has won at least twice. In Jharkhand, bjp has consistently won in dhanbad and Jamshedpur. In Bihar, the party is also very strong in West Champaran, east Champaran and Shivhar. BJD has dominance in Odisha, especially in Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Puri. This shows that the local people support the work of BJD. In West Bengal, TMC has control over Kanthi and Tamluk, which shows the party's solid base there. In haryana, congress is a strong contender for only one seat, Rohtak, and it can be considered its stronghold. congress had won this seat in 2009 and 2014 but in the 2019 elections it lost to bjp by a small margin of 0.6 percent.
