Priyanka gandhi Vadra, a congress lawmaker, faced harsh criticism on friday for criticising the himachal pradesh administration in parliament while ostensibly oblivious to the fact that her own party controls the state.

On social media, the remarks have sparked a lot of teasing. Many internet users have made fun of her for the alleged error, calling her a "bigger Pappu" than her brother rahul Gandhi.Priyanka gandhi accused the himachal pradesh administration of preferring wealthy businesspeople above rural farmers in a speech given during a constitutional discussion. "The Gods have the final say over the nation's farmers. They have been abandoned. All of the laws being enacted in Himachal now are designed to benefit wealthy businessmen. Small farmers in Himachal are left in tears over the apples they grew. Since everything is being altered for a single individual," she stated. However, she neglected to mention that the congress party, under the leadership of chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, currently controls the state.

Social media users swiftly pointed out that priyanka gandhi was criticising her own party's government, highlighting the absurdity of her remarks.

Unaware that her own party was in power, priyanka gandhi assailed the himachal pradesh administration. A user on X responded to a viral video by saying, "She is a bigger Pappu than Pappu himself."Another commenter said, "Priyanka gandhi criticises Himachal, ignoring the fact that it is a state run by the Congress! Is congress now betraying itself?

"Can somebody pls remind priyanka Vadera that himachal pradesh is being (mis)ruled by Congress?" a third user was added.

Here are a few responses to priyanka Gandhi's criticism of the Congress-run Himachal government:"But the government would have changed the Constitution for the lok sabha results."

In addition, priyanka Gandhi's speech addressed more general national concerns, such as how the government handles reservations and the Constitution. She voiced concern that the ruling bjp was trying to privatise important industries and reduce reservation laws, implying that if not for the outcome of the most recent lok sabha elections, the bjp would have begun to change the Constitution.

"This government is using privatisation and lateral entry to erode the reservation policy. gandhi stated that the government would have begun the process of amending the Constitution if the lok sabha election results had not been as they are.The wayanad lok sabha member stated, "The truth is that they are chanting 'Constitution' because they realised that the people of this country will keep the Constitution alive."
