Uddhav Thackeray's big statement, 'I parted ways with bjp, because...'
shiv sena (UBT) chief uddhav thackeray made a big statement on wednesday (April 16) while addressing a party event in Nashik. He said that I have parted ways with BJP. I will not leave Hindutva till my death. Along with this, he said that mumbai is being looted and everything is being sent to Gujarat. He demanded from the maharashtra government that the Governor's residence be transferred somewhere else. raj bhavan should be converted into a memorial of shivaji Maharaj.
I do not accept the deteriorating Hindutva of bjp - Uddhav
shiv sena (UBT) chief further said, "I do not accept the deteriorating Hindutva of BJP. Without shiv sena, bjp could not have reached the position where it could build ram temple in Ayodhya." Taking a dig at the bjp, he said, "The bjp spread a false story that shiv sena has abandoned Hindutva. Muslims supported our party only because as the Chief minister, I treated everyone equally."
Targeted amit Shah
Targeting Union home minister amit shah, uddhav thackeray said, "The talk of not limiting shivaji Maharaj to maharashtra was made when nothing was done for him at the ground level. Tributes are not done only by speeches - they are done by memorials, respect and policies." He asked, "What happened to the Shiv Smarak in the Arabian Sea? Was just the foundation stone laying enough? If fadnavis could not get this memorial built despite being the Chief minister, then what was his priority?"
What did he say about Nashik?
Referring to Nashik, he said, ""Nashik was adopted, it was to be made a smart city. But why has Nashik not got a guardian minister till now?" thackeray asked. "Promises were made to the people, but what did Nashik get? Just look at the manifestos of 2014, 2019 and 2024 – was anything accomplished?” uddhav thackeray said, “Today, questions are being raised on slogans like jai Bhavani, jai Shivaji. Is this not an attack on our culture and self-esteem?” He also raised the issue of ram Mandir – “If there was no shiv sena, would ram Mandir have been possible in Ayodhya?”
