
The yogi government has taken a historic decision for lakhs of outsourcing employees working in Uttar Pradesh. chief minister yogi Adityanath on friday directed the formation of 'Uttar Pradesh Outsource service Corporation' (UPCOS). Through this corporation, not only will the employees get salary on time, but they will also be given social security facilities like medical facility, maternity leave, accident insurance, pension and family pension.
The chief minister gave strict instructions to the officials that any outsourcing employee should be removed from service only when there is a recommendation of the competent officer of the concerned department. Also, by the 5th of every month, the salary should reach the bank accounts of all the employees and their EPF and ESI amount should be deposited on time. cm yogi also said that often complaints are received that many agencies exploit employees, cut salaries, do not pay on time and do not give EPF-ESI. Now there will be blacklisting, fine and legal action against such agencies. All this will be clearly included in the rules of the corporation.
Selection will be done through Gem portal and merit
The chief minister also clarified that reservation rules should be fully followed in outsourcing appointments and the selection process should be completely transparent. Selection will be done through Gem portal and will be merit based. He said that this corporation will protect the dignity and rights of the employees and will bring transparency in the government system. Work will be done in this corporation under a tripartite agreement between the department, agency and employees. Monitoring will be done through the Board of Directors, state and district level committees and agencies will be selected for three years. Along with this, it will also be ensured that the services of the employees currently working are not affected.
Outsourcing employees are working in various departments
It is worth noting that lakhs of outsourcing employees are working in various departments in Uttar Pradesh, who are serving in the posts of computer operator, sweeper, office assistant, watchman, driver etc. For a long time, these employees were demanding salary, insurance and pension. Now with this initiative of yogi government, these employees will not only get social security, but will also increase stability and confidence about the future. The chief minister said, "The state government is committed to ensuring the dignity and security of every employee. Outsourced service Corporation will become a new beginning of trust and stability for lakhs of families."
