A case of hit and run has come to light in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg area, where a speeding water tanker hit a two-wheeler, killing the youth. After the incident, the tanker driver fled from the spot. The deceased has been identified as salman Jan Mohammad Khan, who was seriously injured in the accident and later died during treatment. salman worked as a food delivery boy.

According to the information received from Mumbai's Parksite police station, late night salman and his friend (Mehfooz Hashmi), who is also the complainant in the case, were returning home with food from Tagore Nagar.

The accident happened when they reached gandhi Nagar junction in Kanjurmarg and a water tanker coming from behind at a high speed hit their bike. After the collision, the motorcycle got stuck in the bumper of the tanker.
