Politics has intensified on the bulldozer action in Delhi. congress women leader Alka Lamba has strongly attacked the delhi government and BJP. She said that today people in the country are already troubled by poverty, inflation and unemployment, and now the roof is also being snatched from their heads. She raised the question that the people who are being evicted from their homes, have they fallen from the sky? These people were settled there for years. Alka Lamba reminded the incident of 1993 and said that at that time bjp had also run bulldozers in the same way and then they had to be out of power. She warned that if this continues, bjp will not be able to return to power in delhi for the next 50 years.
'Congress built 50 thousand houses'
She said that the congress government built 50 thousand houses for slum dwellers in its 15 years of rule, but the aam aadmi party (AAP) government did not even distribute the keys of those houses in the last 10 years. Alka Lamba said that the congress had built houses for the needy in areas like Bhumihin Camp and Kalkaji.
'AAP busy in election campaign'
Lamba said that when bulldozers are running in delhi, aam aadmi party leader Atishi and former chief minister are busy in election campaign. Citing the statement of Delhi's current chief minister rekha Gupta, she said that rekha Gupta herself is saying that congress had built 50 thousand houses, not 18, but those houses are now in dilapidated condition.
'Why did the poor not get the keys to the houses'
Alka Lamba asked the government, "If the houses have been built, then why were the keys not given to the poor? How will the poor go to court? Do they have the money and time to go to court?" He said that the government is taking credit for Swabhiman apartments, but has not yet given the keys of the houses built by the Congress.
'Poor people are not the priority of the delhi government'
He alleges that the poor are not the priority of the government. people are lying in the sun under the open sky, but the government is not concerned. The congress spokesperson claims that the intention of the congress party was to provide shelter to the people, but the government that is in power today is only busy taking credit, not working.
