Step 1: Save the whatsapp Number
· First, save the official MyGov Helpdesk number:
+91 91 26 98 98 98 in your phone's contacts.
Step 2: Start a Chat on WhatsApp
· Open whatsapp and search for MyGov Helpdesk.
· Send a message saying "Hi" to initiate the conversation.
Step 3: Authenticate Yourself
· You will be asked to provide your Aadhaar number (12 digits) for verification.
· Once you provide the Aadhaar number, the system will ask for your OTP (One-Time Password).
o The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number associated with Aadhaar.
Step 4: Verify OTP
· After entering the OTP, your Aadhaar details will be validated.
· You will be given an option to download your Aadhaar either in PDF format or as an image.
Step 5: Download Aadhaar
· Once verified, the chatbot will send you the download link.
· Simply click on the link, and your Aadhaar card will be downloaded to your phone.
Step 6: Secure Your Aadhaar
· After downloading, you can open the Aadhaar card using a password (which is the first four letters of your name in capital letters + your birth year). For example, if your name is Rajesh Kumar and your birth year is 1985, the password would be: RAJE1985.
