CBI Arrests DIG Harcharan Bhullar in Massive Bribery Scandal; Over ₹7.5 Crore, gold, Liquor, and Arms Recovered
In a major crackdown on corruption, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar of the Ropar Range, punjab Police, for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹8 lakh. The arrest followed a complaint filed by scrap dealer akash Batta from Mandi Gobindgarh.

₹5.7 lakh in cash
108 bottles of premium liquor
17 live cartridges
From the Middleman's Residence:
₹21 lakh in cash
Suspicious and incriminating documents

The cbi continues to analyze seized documents.
