Step 1: Visit the Official NVSP Website

The NVSP portal is the official platform provided by the election commission of india for voter registration and updates.
Step 2: Login or Register
· If you already have an NVSP account, log in using your credentials.
· If you don’t, you can register as a new user using your EPIC (Voter ID) number, mobile number, and email.
Step 3: Choose the Correct Form
For updating your address, select:
Form 8 – Application for correction or change of address in the electoral roll.
This form is used specifically for changing details like your address, name, or other personal information.
Step 4: Fill in Your Details
· Enter your existing Voter ID number and personal details as requested.
· Provide the new address you want updated in your Voter ID.
· Ensure the information matches your proof of residence.
Step 5: Upload Supporting Documents
You’ll need address proof to validate the change. Accepted documents include:
· Aadhaar Card
· Passport
· Driving License
· Utility bills (Electricity, Water, Gas)
· Ration Card
Upload a scanned copy or a clear photo of your proof of residence.
Step 6: Submit the Form
· review all the details carefully.
· Submit the application online.
· You will get an acknowledgment number after submission. Save it for tracking purposes.
Step 7: Verification by Electoral Officer
· After submission, your local Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) will verify the details.
· They may contact you or send a field verification team to confirm your new address.
Step 8: Track Your Application
You can track the status of your application using the acknowledgment number on the NVSP portal.

Additional Tips
