As the scorching heat of summer begins to grip various parts of the country, including North India, travelling becomes increasingly challenging. In response to the anticipated surge in passenger demand during this season, indian Railways has announced the operation of special summer trains, with bookings now open.

These special trains are primarily focused on routes connecting New delhi with destinations in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Many of these trains are scheduled for single trips only, providing additional travel options for passengers. Among the special trains being introduced are services like the anand Vihar-Raxaul Terminus train, the anand Vihar-Samastipur route, and the anand Vihar-Saharsa route.


For the anand vihar Terminus-Saharsa route, the special train (number 05576) will depart from anand vihar Terminus at 9:30 am, arriving at Saharsa at 6:30 am the following day. The return journey from Saharsa to anand vihar Terminus follows a similar schedule, departing at 9:30 am and arriving at 6:30 am the next day. Stops along this route include Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Sitapur, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Chhapra, Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria, and Simri Bakhtiyarpur.


Similarly, for the anand vihar Terminus-Raxaul route, the special train departs from anand vihar at 8 pm, reaching Raxaul at 2:30 pm the following day. The return journey from Raxaul to anand vihar departs at 10:22 pm, arriving at anand vihar at 6 pm the next day. Stops along this route include Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Sitapur, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, and Sagauli.


These special summer trains aim to provide passengers with additional travel options and convenience during the peak summer season, mitigating the challenges posed by rising temperatures and increased demand for transportation.
