Giant rock collapses on tirupati hill road !!!

At around 6 am in the morning, a large rock weighing about 5 tons suddenly collapsed on the mountain road from tirupati to Thirumalai where the Ezhumalayan temple is located. Subsequently, the rolling rock curved into 3 paths, one below the other, collapsing. As a result, severe landslides occurred at three places on the hillside and trees slumped. Roads are fragmented and badly cracked in some places.

Due to the landslide, traffic on the route was completely disrupted. Immediately Devasthanam staff and engineers inspected the spot and continued to clear the road of collapsed soil and tree branches. Meanwhile, buses plying to Thirumalai for the first half-hour and descending from Thirumalai for the next half hour are currently operating on a rotating basis. In these circumstances, the Devasthanam Board of Trustees Chairman has requested the devotees who have booked tickets to visit the Seven Hills to postpone their itinerary due to the severe landslide on the tirupati Hills and continuous rains for 3 more days in Andhra Pradesh. He also announced that devotees would be allowed to visit the Seven Hills on the same ticket once the situation is right.
