In a spectacular work of fan art, the current incarnation of the Dark Knight from the forthcoming The Batman, portrayed by Robert Pattinson, has been reinvented in the cartoony graphics style of Batman: The Animated Series. When filmmaker Matt Reeves' long-awaited epic hits theatres in March, fans will be excited to see a fresh take on the Batman legend. The movie will take a more realistic approach to Batman, who is only in his second year of crime-fighting. This will be unrelated to any current DCEU continuity.

Despite the fact that it is set early in Batman's tenure, the movie will include some characteristics from the character's 80-year publishing history. This features legendary villains like the Riddler (Paul Dano), Penguin (Colin Farrell), and Catwoman (Zo Kravtiz), as well as supporters. With Batman being among the most famous comic characters of all time, the producers apparently have enough faith in the audience's pre-existing knowledge to supposedly jump right into this new rendition without much context.

In preparation of the film, instagram user @millicay.art created a spectacular piece of fan art reimagining Pattinson's Batman in the manner of Bruce Timm's artwork from the iconic animated series Batman: The Animated Series. As was a popular aesthetic choice when showing Gotham, Batman stands before a moon-lit open sky in this piece.
