The long-distance relationship between Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) is put to the test in Stranger Things season 4. Without telling Nancy, Jonathan starts to reevaluate the pair's college plans despite their intense affections for one another. Nancy works with Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink), Steve Harrington (Joe Keery), and Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) to find the truth when the entity known as Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) starts killing youngsters in Hawkins. Nancy and Steve enjoy moments together during the investigation, despite the fact that they parted ways in season 2.
