James Gunn promises a brand-new enigmatic DC Universe tv series that Warner Bros. Discovery is currently developing. With the establishment of DC Studios back in 2022, a new era for the DCU is about to begin. Gunn and Peter Safran were appointed as the new CEOS of DC Studios, which is now the formal replacement for the DC Films division, toward the conclusion of the previous year. They now have control over all of the DCU-related films, tv shows, animation, and even video games. While many of their intentions are still a secret, some sort of revival is forthcoming.


The head of DC Studios has released a fresh tease as Gunn has spent the past few weeks addressing and refuting numerous rumours. Gunn spoke on twitter about his recent activities related to his duties at DC Studios. He joked about having two significant meetings on Thursday, but he also mentioned working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Gunn revealed that he was working on a "unannounced DC tv programme," which was the biggest mystery.

Gunn has made it obvious over the past few weeks that he and Safran will soon be making news regarding their DCU slate. They won't divulge the entirety of their DCU bible, but they will make part of their ideas known in January.
