Google Pixel 7a Review: Worth the effort!!!

Google's decision to export its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones to india in 2022 caught many by surprise. The Pixel 7 is the most affordable of the two; it was originally priced at Rs. 59,999 but is currently available online for about Rs. 55,999, making it more affordable than any of its forerunners. The 'pocket-friendly' Pixel 7a, which google recently unveiled in india, is a variation of the Pixel 7. Surprisingly, this new phone costs the same amount as its forerunner, the Pixel 6a, at Rs. 43,999 for the single option with 8GB of ram and 128GB of storage.

Is it worthwhile to upgrade from a Pixel 6a to the Pixel 7a if there isn't a significant price difference between it and the Pixel 7? Should you spend an extra Rs. 12,000 on the more expensive model?

Google Pixel 7a

The google Pixel 7a may have a luxury appearance at first, but it attracts dirt and smudges just as much as the Pixel 6a did. The Snow finish makes these smudges almost impossible to see, but the sea and Charcoal finishes won't be as forgiving. Similar to the Pixel 6a, the rear panel is constructed of plastic, which makes it susceptible to scratches. Although its design resembles the premium appearance of the Pixel 7, the materials used are definitely not of the same calibre.
