How much will it cost in a month?
If you run a 1.5 tonne AC with a power of 2250 watts for 30 days at the rate of 10 hours per day, then according to the government website, your total electricity consumption will be around 675 units. If you assume an average rate of Rs 7 per unit, then your estimated electricity bill will be Rs 4725. After adding taxes and other additional charges, this amount can exceed Rs 5000. It is worth noting that the load of your home's electricity connection, such as 4 kW, also helps in calculating the bill.
