The now-viral video was posted on instagram by a person by the name of Siddhesh Lokhare. Siddhesh matched with a woman on the dating app Bumble and eventually met her. On their first date, he brought his mother along as well. Lokhare recorded everything that happened, starting with his mother's planning of the surprise. In reality, neither his mother nor his date were aware of what was about to take place.

When the two women do finally meet, they get along great. The date is startled, but she quickly caresses the mother's foot and feels comfortable in her company. The girl may also be seen describing to her mother how the online dating site works. The web video was shared and acquired around 5 lakh views. After watching the video, internet users were ecstatic and left comments in which they showed their affection. One user commented, "This is really cute..they both don't seem uncomfortable at all.. touching clip."
