Conocarpus Tree in Telangana: Dangerous Threat..!?

The telangana government also banned Conocarpus due to its high side effects. The officials were directed not to plant these plants in green areas. But at the field level, it is not being implemented. During the rainy season, many people plant plants. The telangana government also organizes a sapling program every year. It also encourages people to plant trees on a large scale. Along with flowers, fruits and timber trees are planted on both sides of the roads. Trees have no benefits but no harm to the environment and our children. But one green plant alone is causing concern among all. Its name is Conocarpus.
Conocarpus plants are being planted for beautification in several municipalities in Telangana. Between the roads to increase greenery, these trees are being grown more and more. They grow erect vegetatively in a short time. Planting on both sides of the roads and in the middle of the roads makes the towns vibrant with greenery. But environmentalists are concerned about these plants. Environmentalists are concerned about deforestation in general. But now they are so shocked to see many Conocarpus plants. Because these are so dangerous..! This is not good for the environment, but it is causing harm.Many studies have shown that allergy, respiratory, and asthma problems are caused by the pollen released from Conocarpus flowers. Their roots are also causing severe damage. The roots go deep into the ground, destroying many communication cables, lot of drainage lines, and freshwater systems. Butterflies also flock for the Conocarpus pollen. Even goats will not be eating their leaves. Insects and birds dont make use of conocarpus plants. Even Birds do not build their nests on these plants. Overall, this tree are not good for the environment. But it has huge side effects.There are several subspecies of the Conocarpus plant. Around the world, they grow in tropical and coastal mangroves. Their roots go several meters deep, to withstand even strong currents. This will make them to stabilize the tree. As a result,  the speed of water flow is hindered where rivers and seas meet in coastal areas. In African and Asian countries, it is used for the beautification of towns and cities. After full research, countries like iran and pakistan have decided to ban this plant.
Due to its high side effects, the telangana government also banned Conocarpus. In green areas, the officials were directed not to plant these plants. But at the field level it is not being implemented. Many places are still planting these conocarpus plants. It is because of  that environmentalists are expressing their concern about Conocarpus plants. They are demanding a complete and total ban on Conocarpus plants.
