
YouTube on monday appointed Gunjan Soni as the U.S. director for India. Soni has had successful stints at ZALORA, Famous Person india, and Myntra.
She steps into her new role, following the departure of Ishan Chatterjee last year.
With many years of leadership experience spanning enterprise, technology, advertising, and e-commerce, Soni is set to steer YouTube's boom and innovation efforts in india, the Alphabet-owned video platform said in a launch.
Soni joins YouTube from ZALORA, where she served as institution CEO for 6 years based in Singapore. At some point in her tenure, she became instrumental in introducing new classes and commercial enterprise fashions, fostering innovation, and improving person revelry through personalization and a successful loyalty program.
