
Mumbai's Sakinaka police Department has taken a major action against drugs and seized MD drugs worth about Rs 8 crore. This factory was being run inside a cement block manufacturing company called MK Green in Kaman village area of Vasai. The police had received information that MD drugs were being prepared illegally in this cement manufacturing factory. Based on this information, the police raided and arrested three accused. This action has busted another network of drug smuggling in Mumbai. At present, the police is investigating the whole matter thoroughly.
Three accused arrested, mastermind absconding
According to the information received, the police have recovered four kg of MD drugs in this raid, whose market value is said to be around Rs 8 crore. The names of the arrested accused are Sadiq Sheikh, Siraj Panjwani and Syed Irani. All of them are old criminals and cases are registered against them in various police stations.
It is noteworthy that the Sakinaka police had earlier arrested a drug dealer, through whom the clue of this factory located in Vasai was found. However, the main accused of this gang is still absconding and the police is searching for him. New revelations are also being made continuously in the case of drug smuggling that came to light in Barshi. Earlier, the names of 9 accused had come to the fore. Now the police have made three more people accused. These three include Mastan Sheikh of Paranda, Sajid Mujawar and a person named Shelke. All three are currently absconding. It is worth noting that on april 18, the police arrested three people with 20 grams of MD drugs in Barshi, after which this big racket was exposed.
In the action taken so far, it has come to light that there are a total of 12 accused in this drugs racket, out of which 9 are from Paranda area and 3 are from Barshi. Out of these, 7 accused are in police custody, while 3 are still absconding. deepak Kale of Paranda and Ayyaz Shaukat Shaikh of Khandvi were also arrested recently and are likely to be produced in court on april 25.
