10 minor children from bihar have been freed in Uttar Pradesh. The minor children were taken from bihar to firozabad to the bangle factory. Anti Human Trafficking and Child Protection Rights jointly took action against child labour. Ramgarh police has registered a case against the contractor. It is alleged that the contractor had brought 10 children from bihar to work in the bangle factory. Officials said that contractor Mohammad Afsar is a resident of Dubaili Vishwaspur in Purnia.
On the complaint of child labour, the team of Thana AHT and Child Protection Rights jointly raided a house in Ramgarh area. During the raid, 10 minor children were found working as labourers. The administration team sent the children to the government Children's home after conducting a rescue operation.

The children were freed after raiding a house in Chishti Nagar. Contractor Mohammad Afsar was making the children put stones on bangles in the house. On Friday, after receiving information, AHT SHO Prempal Singh, Childfund India's field coordinator rekha Verma, child protection officer Arpana Kulshreshtha formed a joint team and raided the house in Chishti Nagar.
Contractor accused of making children work
10 minor children were found working in the house. Officials said that during interrogation it was found that the children were lured and brought from Bihar. The rescue team freed all the children and presented them before the child welfare committee. After the presentation, the freed children were sent to the government children's home after getting medical checkup done. district Probation Officer Mithilesh Kumar said that 10 children have been rescued. He said that further legal action is being taken as per the instructions of the child welfare committee. A report has been filed against the accused contractor in Ramgarh police station.
