Indian Personality of the Year Award:
Actress hema malini and lyricist and screenwriter prasoon joshi receive the indian Personality of the Year award.
The award was announced by Union minister Anurag Thakur. Both will be honored with awards at the goa International Film festival (IFFI).
Satyajit Ray Life Achievement Award will be presented to hollywood director Martin Skorsi and Hungarian director Istevan Sabo.
The film festival starts on november 20. 25 films were selected in the feature category and 20 films in the non-feature category. Two films from malayalam have been selected for the feature category.
There are no malayalam movies in the non-feature category.
