On 13 april 2023, bollywood celebs were seen remembering their dear friend Satish kaushik on his birth anniversary. The veteran actor passed away in march this year and his untimely demise sent shockwaves across the nation. Satish kaushik was in delhi when he had a heart attack.
On the evening of 13 april 2023, actor anupam kher paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor by organizing a musical event on his 67th birth anniversary. Other celebs like Neena Gupta, Anil Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, rani Mukerji attended the event. Satish's wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika also came to attend the event.

During the musical night, 10-year-old Vanshika was seen reading the letter she had written to her father after his death. His emotional letter brought tears to everyone's eyes. anupam kher revealed that he kept his letter next to his father's body when he was brought from delhi to Mumbai. She did not read the letter during the funeral saying that she would read it at the 'right time'. Now Vanshika has finally shared it with everyone.
Vanshika said- 'I wish you were alive like movies'At the beginning of the letter, Vanshika wrote, "Hello Papa, I know you are no more, but I want you to know that I will always be with you. Your friends taught me to be strong, but I Can't live without you. I miss you. If I'd known this was going to happen, I'd have missed school to spend time with you."


Vanshika further wrote, "I wish I could hug you once. You are still in my heart Like in the movies, I wish there was a miracle and you would be alive. I don't know who will save me from my mother when I don't do my homework. I don't feel like going to school now. I don't know what my friends will say. Will they make fun of me?"

Vanshika further wrote in the letter, "Please come in my dreams every day. I have worshiped for you and I want you to live in heaven and live a happy life in a big mansion with 'Rolls-Royce' and 'Ferrari'. Live life. You will eat great food. Anyway, we will meet again in 90 years. Please don't reincarnate, we will meet in 90 years. Please remember me, I will always remember you. For me you are the best father in the world Were."

Vanshika also revealed that when she felt down, the actor would take her out on lunch dates and he would also do her maths homework. She added, "Whenever I was feeling down, he would always say to me, 'Vanshika, do you want to go on a lunch date at the JW Marriott?' When I used to do my dance, I used to laugh at his weird dance moves."
