Renault india has reported on friday, it sold 11,964 units in the domestic market, up 64.73 per cent from 7,263 units sold in december 2018.
The French automaker also said that with the launch of Triber alongside the updated Kwid and Duster, its cumulative sales in 2019 increased by 7.8 per cent to 88,869 units from 82,368 units in 2018. In the third quarter (October-December) of FY20, the automaker has sold 34,362 units, up 67.92 per cent from the same period last year.
Renault has also claimed that the seven-seater MPV Triber has sold 24,142 units since its launch in august 2019. In december alone, the car sold 5,631 units in the domestic market. The automaker is currently exporting the MPV to south africa besides selling it in the domestic market.
