Several gifts that prime minister Narendra Modi received from influential people and political figures will be put up for auction in an effort to raise money for the Namami Gange project. On PM Modi's birthday, september 17, the e-auction will start. The office of prime minister Narendra Modi has had the distinction of receiving countless gifts and souvenirs from well-known people and supporters around the country over the past few years.

A number of historical objects, including fine paintings, sculptures, handicrafts, and folk artefacts, will be included in the one-of-a-kind auction of gifts that PM Modi received. Additionally, the auction items will be on display for tourists at the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi. Up to 1200 presents and keepsakes given to the prime minister will be auctioned off, according to the official announcement. The Namami ganga initiative, a campaign to clean the sacred river ganga, would benefit from the money raised through the auction.
