In the annals of telugu cinema, Krithi Shetty may have had one of the best debuts. Her performance in Upenna, her feature film debut, was well-received as well as a financial smash. Early in their lives, many actors yearn for success like this, and following Uppena, Krithi Shetty was in high demand. After Uppena, Krithi Shetty appeared in the critically acclaimed films Bangarraju and shyam Singha Roy. As a result, Krithi gained the moniker "the golden hand of telugu cinema."

The golden hand, though, seems to have lost some of its lustre recently. Krithi Shetty is currently going through a rough patch with back-to-back box office failures. She recently experienced a lack of luck and was involved in three catastrophes quickly. The Warrior, directed by ram pothineni, bombed at the box office and even during its opening weekend. The most recent of them all, Aa Ammayi Gurunchi Meeku Cheppali, crashed on the first day.

Nithin's macherla Niyojakavargam crashed on the second day. The next big thing in telugu film could very well be Krithi, but she will need to pick her scripts carefully. The actress is expected to jump into glamour and skin show too.
