When unknown individuals threw stones at N. Chandrababu Naidu's convoy near Nandigama in ntr district on Friday, the former chief minister of andhra pradesh suffered injuries. As part of an anti-government demonstration in the town, the telugu desam party (TDP) president was speaking at a road show when the incident happened. A stone struck Naidu's head security officer Madhu Babu in the chin, causing blood injuries. He received first aid treatment. Following the assault, commandos from the National Security Guard (NSG) went on high alert and surrounded Naidu.

The incident raised unrest in the community. Around Naidu's vehicle, more security guards were stationed. Additionally, police requested that he end the touring performance. Naidu denounced the throwing of stones. He said that inadequate police security allowed for the attack. The tdp leader urged chief minister Jagan mohan reddy not to engage in pulivendula politics and blamed the attack on the governing ysr congress Party (YSRCP). He declared that he would not be intimidated by such attacks.

In his remarks, Naidu warned the audience that the YSRCP's control would not provide a stable future for their children. He said that the state won't feel any respite until the YSRCP is eliminated in every assembly district. The tdp leader reaffirmed his intention to enter the assembly only after being appointed chief minister.
