However, the bjp chose not to return Naidu's favour and has made the decision to avoid the tdp in the telangana polls. In a recent meeting, bjp state president Bandi Sanjay made it clear that any agreement with the tdp will only work against the BJP.

The party has secured an alliance partner in controversial political figure Teenmaar Mallanna in one of its most recent attempts.
