Section 144 Imposed - Cops injured, shops burned...


After West bengal and Gujarat, now two sides have come face to face during the ram Navami procession in Sasaram, Bihar. During this, the dispute increased so much that there was fierce stone pelting on both sides. In which there is news of two policemen being injured. It is being told that vehicles have been vandalized and many hut-like shops have been set on fire. The cops are making an effort to maintain order.  Section 144 has been imposed in view of the tension in the area.

According to the information, DM dharmendra Kumar and SP vineet kumar have reached the spot with heavy police force. The police administration says that the situation is currently under control. Gola Bazar, Mubarakganj, Kadirganj, Navratna and Chaukhandi Bazar of Sasaram have been completely closed. He said that the police force has been deployed everywhere. The situation is under control.

So far 35 arrested in Bengal

The situation in West Bengal's Howrah city is peaceful on friday amid heavy police deployment following clashes between two groups during a ram Navami procession around Kazipada area. A senior official of Howrah city police station said that searches and raids were conducted in various areas around Kazipada throughout the night. So far 35 people have been arrested in connection with the clash. He told that the people detained through video footage would be identified and legal action would be taken against the culprits.
