Exclusive: Actors death prank gone wrong...??

Rajesh dhruva talks about his friend and former co-star sampath J ram and the circumstances surrounding his terrible death in an exclusive interview.

Many people were shocked beyond belief when actor sampath J ram tragically passed away. The 35-year-old actor, who gained notoriety for his parts in tv series like Agnisakshi, set out to establish himself on the big screen. His most recent performance in the feature film Shri balaji Photo Studio was sufficient evidence that he did, in fact, possess the skills to make the jump. To the complete astonishment and sadness of his friends and family, sampath J. ram was discovered dead in his Bengaluru home on Saturday, april 22, in a fairly strange and unfortunate turn of circumstances. Then it was discovered that he had killed himself.

Soon after, rumours started to circulate that sampath was compelled to commit suicide due to financial problems brought on by a lack of acting possibilities. However, Rajesh dhruva, a close friend and coworker who both directed and starred in Shri balaji Photo Studio, argues that the allegations made so far are baseless and that the suicide's underlying motivations are entirely personal.

"I've known him for more than ten years, and over that time, we have remained really close. I'm not sure from where it was reported that sampath committed himself because he had no acting roles or money problems, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Unfortunately, his death can be characterised as a "act of impulse" that may have been the outcome of a family dispute. Although I don't fully understand what transpired between him and his wife, I think he never planned to end his life. A small argument between them caused things to spiral out of control without either of them realising it, and before you knew it, he was gone.
