The owner of a restaurant in Aruppukottai, tamil Nadu has been charged under 4 sections for providing FREE biryani to people. He has been charged in cases for violating COVID guidelines as a huge crowd gathered in the queue to grab the FREE Biriyani. In Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar district, due to the opening ceremony of a restaurant, it was announced that all the customers who visit the shop would get a free biryani. 


As the crowd came in large numbers, it was announced that the biriyani will be given free for those who wear white Vetti, T-shirts,s and DMK Karaivetti. Regardless of the corona spread prevention measure, about 3 thousand customers went to buy biryani for free. In this case, the police have filed a case under Section 4 against the private restaurant owner for violating the Corona prevention rules. 


The Biriyani shop is not yet sealed and they have also been fined a small amount for drawing so much huge crowd. However, this also turned out to be uninvited publicity for the restaurant shopkeeper in Arupukottai District, tamil Nadu. The tamil Nadu government has tightened the screws and has imposed several new guidelines to control the spread of the virus.
