Several political parties have expressed support for the Bharat Bandh, or statewide strike called by farmers on september 27 to protest the three central agriculture legislation. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an overarching organisation of farmers' unions that has spearheaded anti-farm law protests, has now gained help from the YS jagan Mohan Reddy-led andhra pradesh govt; and in the meantime, the congress, the aam aadmi party (AAP), and the telugu desam party have all expressed support for the strike on monday (TDP). Moreover, the Left parties have previously expressed their support for the Bharat Bandh.
