The indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning about a probable low pressure region near the andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal. It has issued a warning that required precautions should be taken since heavy rain is expected in the coastal areas of North tamil Nadu on the 17th and 18th. In southern maharashtra, a low pressure system emerges in the eastern-central Arabian Sea. At 0530 this morning, the depression that was in the central andaman Sea yesterday had moved somewhat west-northwest and was in the northern andaman Sea.

This is primarily due to the probability of another low pressure area forming. Another low pressure region is expected to arise in the arabian sea as a result of one in the northern andaman Sea. It is expected to form in the next 24 hours off the coast of southern maharashtra in the east-central arabian sea, as well as the surrounding east-central and southeastern Arabian Seas. Over the following 48 hours, it will move west-northwest and strengthen.

Light to moderate rainfall in southern coastal andhra pradesh and a few locations in northern coastal tamil Nadu on november 17. There's a chance it'll rain strongly in a few spots.

November 18: In most portions of southern coastal andhra pradesh and northern coastal tamil Nadu, light to moderate showers are expected. In a few spots, there's a chance of heavy to very heavy rain.
