Against national interest'; central government says Chinese encroachment on the border cannot be discussed:

The rajya sabha secretariat informed this in its reply to Subramanian Swamy

New Delhi: The Center has refused to allow talks on the Chinese occupation of the Ladakh border.

Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has demanded that the Chinese invasion of the original Line of Control in Ladakh be discussed.

However, the rajya sabha secretariat informed Swamy that the issue could not be discussed in the national interest.

Swamy himself made the announcement on social media.  He described the decision of the secretariat as "tragic".

Earlier, Swamy had sharply criticized the bjp government on this issue. china has occupied thousands of kilometres of territory. He also asked if the Modi government had the backbone to admit this.

'China has already invaded us.

Thousands of square kilometres were captured and townships, roads, and observatories were established.

We still do not know. No one came. Does the Modi government have the guts to admit this fact? Or will the country have to accept more shame from china as it did in 1962? 'He asked.

Subramanian Swamy, who was recently removed from the bjp National Executive Committee, is in a public confrontation with the leadership.

Subramanian Swamy's meeting with bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee last week had garnered political attention.
